WJMProjects is a local, experienced team serving homeowners in Reading and the surrounding towns — and most of our work still comes from recommendations.
Our story
Who we are
WJMProjects grew out of 35 years of hands-on trade experience in and around Reading. What started with plastering and general building work has grown into a complete exterior improvement service — landscaping, patios, driveways, fencing, brickwork, extensions and everything in between.
We're not a national franchise and we don't sub the important work out to whoever's cheapest that week. When you hire WJMProjects, the people who quote your job are the people who build it.

Do it once, do it right
Shortcuts in preparation always show up later — in sinking paving, leaning fences and damp walls. We build foundations properly the first time so the finished work lasts.

Itemised written quotes, honest advice about what's worth spending on and what isn't, and no surprise extras at the end of the job.
Respect for your home
We treat your property like it's ours: protected access, a tidy site every evening, and a proper clean-up before we hand the job back to you.

You'll always know what's happening, what's next and when we'll be there. If something changes, you hear it from us first — not by noticing an empty driveway.

Our approach to every job
Whether it's a fence repair or a full extension, the process is the same: listen carefully to what you want, offer honest advice on materials and options, price the work clearly, and build it to the standard we agreed. We walk every finished job through with the customer before we consider it complete.
Because we cover both building and landscaping, we're often able to take on projects that would otherwise need two or three separate contractors — a patio with a retaining wall and new drainage, or an extension with the garden reinstated properly afterwards. One team, one point of contact, one standard.
Where we work
We're based in Reading and travel up to around 25 miles for most work — covering Caversham, Tilehurst, Theale, Pangbourne, Wokingham, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Henley-on-Thames, Newbury, Basingstoke and the villages in between. See our services or get in touch to check we cover your area.
